This morning I saw the kid from Up waiting for the school bus. 🙂

Most of the employees at my local supermarket were in costume. I think they should be allowed to dress up every day, not just Halloween.
For me, any dog wearing a Bob Ross costume will win it every time! And I didn’t know 3-headed dog costumes was a thing – clever but kinda creepy at the same time. Dogs are soooo good to indulge us in all our silliness. 😃

I’ve seen a couple of those three-headed dogs before.
I think my favorite of the Tompkins Square Park list (which I think was actually a link from the Gothamist article) was the two Greyhounds dressed as Greyhounds. Buses, that is.
That and Dog Ross, whose human was his canvas.

I’m sorry, but has no one noticed that none of these animals seem very happy about what’s being done to them with costumes, etc. I’ve rarely seen animals with sadder looking eyes than all of these being forced to wear a thing they don’t want to have on their bodies, just so their owners can enjoy a dress-up holiday. IMO, this is borderline cruel.
Anyone who *forces* an animal into a costume deserves whatever scratches and bites the animal delivers. ☹️ But many pets LIKE to be dressed up—some get treats out of it! Some animals just have that dead-pan face look, but they aren’t unhappy. My bunnies have never liked costumes but I did get bat wings onto my first mini-lop. It was hysterical!😂

Remember to stay safe this Halloween. But if there is a problem, this ambulance will pick you up with the siren blaring (via Murray C.)
