I went to an alpaca farm several years ago and I did not get to boop a single nose. I did not know they were so squishy. I feel cheated.
There are quite a few alpaca farms near my birthplace, Bradford, in West Yorkshire. When circumstances permit I plan to spend a few days there visiting places associated with my ancestors and going ‘alpaca trekking’ at one of these establishments.
When I went, it was with some hobby-photographer friends and a group doing a “photo field trip”…I don’t have a good camera but my friend had some awesome pictures.
One of the best things about the modern smartphone era is that never again will I think “if only I had a camera with me.” Like, my Pixel 3 isn’t exactly a DSLR, but it’s every bit as good as a point and shoot, and it lives in my pants 17/7, 365.
Yeaahhh…I still don’t have a smartphone. I need to remedy that.
Thinking iphone to replace both my phone and my cranky old ipod nano at once but I haven’t decided what’s best… plus figuring out data plans…and I get a discount through my employer but I don’t know what exactly it applies to…I should probably just go to the Verizon store and have someone help me.
