Nothing’s the matter, it’s all good, no problems… (via Andrew Y.)
Cat.Exe is currently updating.
Seems our green-eyed friend is…catatonic.
Ouch! 😀
I know how kitty feels. What a week.
I needed some capybara chill, today..
(A hot tub would be nice, too…)
I has a sad because I don’t have a capybara in my hot tub. Also, I don’t have a hot tub.
Me neither. 🙁
I has the same sad.
Me four.
I has a sad, I have a hot tub but no capys. Maybe I should complain to the landlord??
Do you at least have some mandarin oranges and fall leaves?
I have valencia oranges and the tree is right by the hot tub. Unfortunately, they’re not ripe yet 😔. I’ll have to try throwing some in one time and see if we get scented hot tub water.
I would rather vote for these candidates than the ones we had. And I can’t even look at the news sites because it gives me so much anxiety. I’m relying on my husband to tell me the necessary info. I told him there’s only one of two things I need to know … a) start celebrating or b) start packing. I’m just incredibly sad that the US has gone in a few short years from a relatively decent country to something that I thought I’d only see/hear about in the Middle East, Latin America or Africa. I don’t think an election has been this contentious in over 100 years.
Me thinks wide eyed kitty has been hitting the cat nip. I think I need something to help me relax, this week has been h e double hockey sticks. Between the election, idiots at work, and the pandemic surge, I’m just stick a fork in me done with this whole year. Thanks for letting me vent fellow Cutetropolians.
I share many of your frustrations. Fortunately, I don’t have idiot coworkers. Unfortunately, my bestest office buddy told me on Wednesday–WEDNESDAY! after a long sleepless night!!!–that he’s leaving in mid-December. I actually started crying.
My boss let us know in an email! about a few weeks ago she’s taking the Early Exit Program that the University is offering and will be retiring at the end of Dec. WAHHHHH!!! Then today we found out who will be our new supervisor, she’s ok but she’s younger than anyone on our team, and I was on the committee that hired her! I never wanted to be in management but it’s a little rough when some young whippersnapper (lol) takes over. If I could afford our lifestyle without my salary, I’d retire too. But then again, what am I going to do in retirement when there’s a pandemic going? A little hard to get a part time job, travel is pretty much non-existent, and volunteer opportunities are all virtual. Sigh, I’m just trying to remember that this too will pass. And I’m hoping it’s soon.
Well, you’d have a lot more time for worrying.
I can totally relate to the “idiots at work” part. Most of my co-workers have never been very bright, but this week stupidity just completely went off-scale …

And hey, NJ voted to legalize recreational…uh…human-nip.
Don’t bother retiring. I’m happily retired but I have idiots at home.
