Once considered a relic of 50’s sci-fi movie scores, the theremin cat remains popular among devotees of exotic musical instruments. Since it requires only simple hand gestures, even the novice player can pick it up with ease. (via Murray C.)

I am bowled over by the ineffectual ferocity. I don’t think kitten is in the mood but it’s too funny to stop.
Yeah, I’m not sure she sounds happy but omsquee!
Those black toebeans, too. Like tiny polar bear feets.
Kittens and puppies love to play fight but this particular kitten is obviously not enjoying what is happening to him.
It’s not possible that the kitten is making those sounds. If it is real then I bow to my kitten overlord. That is the most amazing squeeing I’ve ever heard.
Kitten is unfairly cute. On top of the rest, it has Puss-in-Boots eyes and a Kit-Cat clock tail. But really, I don’t think kitty is enjoying it.
Guess I don’t know much about cats, cos to me this kitty seems to enjoying the situation! I don’t think the cute sounds are a protest. She looks like she likes waving her feet back at the human. But…I don’t have a cat, sooo…🤷🏼♀️
Kitty does sound just like a theremin! But doesn’t seem to be entirely happy, so I have to nuff. Also not the best way to interact with a kitten–teaches them that fingers are toys, which can lead to problems.
I just looked at the video description and it says “cotton is my sweetie kitten and he don’t like when I touching his belly”…so stop touching his belly? Poor baby should just come snuggle with me.
Thank you. Exactly what I was thinking. It’s like having someone continue tickling you when you’ve said “STOP”. Kitten needs to bite harder.
