Guess we’d better bill them out, Sharon H.

Guess weโd better bill them out
That is totally a Bill Kurtis joke on Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me. (Which I am listening to right now.)
OK but waddle I do if the cops turn on the heat?
Then I guess theyโll be Peking ducks.
P.S. I really want to know the back story. I like to think the nice policemen are bringing them back to the pond.
…โquack under pressure..โ ๐๐๐๐
What fowl deed did they try to duck out on?
Quacketeering.
(Stole that from the source thread.)
Oh, yeah โฆ bread truck robbery. Thanks for goosing my memory.
High treason and jaywalking.
They might end up in the loon bin if they’re not careful.
Alice…we’ve been getting such distressing news from Britain! Hope you are coping. Much of the news is centered around air travel but the cause for this restriction is unnerving. Stay well. ๐
Thanks for that, Dulcie. York is currently classed as Tier 2, which is lower than average for Britain, and as I wasn’t planning on leaving the country or visiting London (Tier 4!!) I’m not particularly anxious. My 87 year old father will be getting the first of two Covid vaccinations tomorrow afternoon, and as I’m 60 I’m hoping that my age group won’t have to wait much longer.
Yay for your Dad! That’s great.
Love the leetle bunny helping itself to the carrot. My only smile for today.
This morning I had to put my 14 year old bunny, named Precious Pepper Bean to sleep. We adopted her when she was around 8-10 weeks old. Even though she became blind, incontinent and got a tumor, she still got around her smaller area, and knew the routines in her day. Sheโs been featured here a few times. I still have a 7 year bunny, named Leo. Our daughter adopted him but due to new job travelling a lot, we got him. Itโs so very , very hard and sad but I know sheโs no longer uncomfortable. I know all of you have gone through this pain and can understand what I feel. Not everyone I personally know, feels my loss is the same as losing a dog or cat.
Sending virtual hugs.. ๐
Iโm so sorry. I think taking care of them when they get sick and infirm only makes the bond stronger.
Hugs, Luv Bunny. It’s never easy.
So sorry for your loss! How fortunate she was to have such devoted caregivers.
Luv Bunny, I’m so very sorry for your loss. I am sure Precious Pepper Bean enjoyed the best possible life with you. I’m glad you had so long together, and I am confident you made the right choice at the right time, and she is at peace and without pain now. I know you will miss her. I hope Leo will help you adjust to life without her presence, and I’m sure you will do the same for him. Bibi sends healing puppy kisses, and I send hugs.
Ah man, I am sorry Luv Bunny. That is a crummy, awful pain.
Oh, how I know that pain! I’m so sorry, Luv Bunny – from one Bunny Lover to another.
Oh no Luv Bunny. So sad to hear. It is so hard to say goodbye. Hugs ๐
โ…we donโt know nothing about n bread truck robbery.โ
In fact, weโre gluten intolerant!
Hugs to you, Luv Bunny.
Funny Duckie. How are you doing today?
So sorry Luv Bunny. No matter how long we have with them, it never seems like enough but I know you made the right decision. Warm hugs from sunny SoCal.
