Woodland creatures, chickens with arms, joystick pigs, tearful reunions, and water wimp.
And finally: Water Wimp!

She didn’t save our life but one of my cats found a leak in a water pipe. In the morning when my husband would go down to clean the litter box, he would find her sitting in front of this one wall looking intently at it.
She would only do this in the morning so after a couple of days of this strange behaviour, my husband decided to investigate and found a small leak in the pipe coming from our shower upstair.
Hero cat! Such a good girl!
The wildlife photos are gorgeous.
Huskies are such drama queens.
Saving other linkies for later.
Meanwhile, not sure how, Penny and/or Teller managed to turn ON my gas fireplace that was (don’t ask why) installed without a vent. No idea how.
Yeah…most cats just try to trip their owners down the stairs.
Ha! π€£ I’d be very careful around those two if I were you!
I feel like “talkative husky” is a redundant phrase. He certainly let his human know that he was NOT happy about this water business. Maybe if it had been snow instead….
There are a couple Huskies in my complex who are probably thrilled today.
Me, not so much. I’m working from home but I was surprised they didn’t close work. I sure as heck wouldn’t be trying to go anywhere this morning. Hoping they’ll close tomorrow. Supposed to snow through the afternoon, “snow showers” in the evening, a period of “wintry mix” overnight and into the morning, and more snow tomorrow.
I need to move my setup, though. I’m right in front of the living room window and it’s too cold here.
Hero cats are wonderful…but do they have to be so subtle?? Staring at the wall π!
And my heart went out to water wimp. Aww poor doggy. He needs a shore ramp like I do!!
You could tell he wanted to go in but not exactly off the edge!
“Chickens already look somewhat like dinosaurs”
Um, chickens are dinosaurs, thank you very much.
Love the wildlife photos. I’d love to frame some of them but I wouldn’t know how to choose!
I LOVE the husky. It sounded like he had a number of things to say about this idea of getting into the water, not just I don’t know about this.
I think he was saying “Why aren’t you jumping in?”
Yeah! If it’s such a great idea, human!
You can order postcards and prints!

Great news Duckie.
Awesome site, Duckie! Thanks so much.π Love this guys water photos with the reflections. Donβt know how he does that, but…amazing!
Arms for chickens, one question – WHY?????? Other links are great, such beautiful animals and so happy for the reunions except I really wish people would stop chopping onions so early in the morning. Husky is hysterical, and the other (smaller) dogs pretty much just jumped right on in. Talk about a big baby.
Stay warm and safe peeps if you’re in the path of the next storm. I’ll play nice and not mention the weather here.
Arms for chickens are like tutus for chickens–why indeed?
Yes, stay warm and safe, everybody!
I read that as tutus for turtles, and my mind went π€ͺ
Oh that’s adorable!
If you haven’t seen the stories about South Padre Island saving its freezing sea turtles, take a look!

Thanks, Allein. I needed that.
I’m sure you knew when you mentioned tutus for turtles there would be one forthcoming…
