The funniest thing about the bear video was all the people moaning and shouting as they watched!😆 That had to be hard!
I loved their reaction. It also looked like they got out of the way when the bear showed up.
Watching the bear literally hoover up the burgers made my day.
Ivy the cat is so…interesting. One the commenters said maybe she is batting at her eye floaters? I thought that was a good guess cos I’ve had those before and they are annoying!

My favorite food thieves are the first one George who runs away with the whole bag of kibbles and the last one that steals the food right out of the woman’s fingers.

Food thieves are too funny. I had a cat steal some turkey while I was eating it! It was a leg, I was on one side and kitty was noshing on the other. That was the same kitty that tried stealing food off my plate while looking the other direction like nope, don’t know what the paw is doing, it’s not me. I think all of us need a Rx for a kitten, mine would be for multiple. Ivy the cat looks like she’s conducting an orchestra. And I’m just happy the wildest thing I’ve seen in my backyard is a skunk. If there’s ever a bear, they can take whatever they want.
Lately I’ve been looking around my house wondering where I could put a litter box and food bowls…
The only parts that aren’t carpeted are my (tiny) kitchen, entryway, and the bathroom (which is also the laundry room and anywhere you put anything on the floor would be in the way of something).
(I’d have to get rid of a lot of clutter before I could get a pet, too, though. Which is hard for a few reasons.)
Peeps just need to share that there’s been an early Christmas Miracle at our house. Hadn’t shared (because I was hoping it would be a short interval) but hubby was laid off from his job with his last day tomorrow. I was starting to stress because no job offers were forthcoming even with him sending out multiple resumes over the last 2 weeks. But today, one of his VA disability claims was approved and the they dumped a significant chunk of change in the bank account for back payments. Between that, and money from my 401K distributions on top of our regular monthly checks, there will be enough to keep us going for about 6 months in case the job search drags on.
AJ, I’m glad to hear that you’ve gotten some money! Sending positive thoughts/prayers/whatever you want to call them that your hubby finds a new job soon!
I’m sorry about your husband’s job and so very happy about the good news! Job searches are no fun without a financial cushion.
