One blinged-out duck in the background is trying to remove necklace 😄
What a cute wolf baby!
Olivia is adorable!
Handstand cat is awesome! Amazing what some animals do to compensate for a disability.😳
I have seen this before😂
The Vet pics are hilarious! I was gonna post one here but I was spoiled for choice!

When my long lost Josephine was a kitten, she looked like she’d swallowed a tennis ball. For the exact same reason.

I love the detailed explanation of what is going on in the photo.
1. Blood drawer Technician Tiffany – very important, need the blood.
2. Head holder Technician Shelly – also important, must not move!
3. Butt scratcher Doctor Koelmel – super important, depending on who you ask, THE MOST important.
4. Paw holder Technician Marissa – everyone needs a little extra support.
5. Food duty provided by Assistant Jackie. Spray cheese on a spoon and peanut butter in a Kong. If you ask Eleanor, this is the ONLY thing that is needed.

Duckie 🐥,May 13, 2024 / 3:06 pm
I’ve been leaning heavily on this site for the last few days. We had a sudden heat spike here starting Friday, not too high, but sudden, and Duckie had heat exhaustion. She wouldn’t eat yesterday, and drank very little. I tried spraying her, and using a fan, but they just scared her and made her mad. She was drooping on her perch, and wasn’t very responsive to even cracker, ice tea or her music disc. When I got up this morning, I felt certain that she would either be gone, or needing a trip to the vet to ease her suffering. I took the cover off the cage, and she squinted at me while drooping. I started crying and went to get the bird carrier. When I got back, she shook herself, hopped across the cage, and did her I’m-happy-now-give-me-some-cracker dance! She nibbled the cracker, went to her dishes and ate and drank normally!
The temperature is cooler today, which is helping incredibly. I’m doing some searching now, to find ways to keep her cool this summer, as she does not follow traditional budgie routines for that. And I truly appreciate all of you, just for being here.

Oh this was scary to read. Big hug to both Duckies!

So glad Little Duckie is better! Maybe look into a portable A/C unit for just that room. Either that or set her cage in a cooler filled with ice.

I’m so glad there’s a happy ending!

I am so glad little Duckie is okay! How worrying!🥺 I don’t know anything about birds and I’d freak out. I assume you have no AC? Sounds like AJ has good advice. I’ve seen those little ice fans that are supposed to cool off a small area. 😘 to Duckie!

What a scare there for a moment. Glad Duckie came around. I don’t recall the area where you live but it’s not quite summer yet and the heat is already causing you issues. Hope you find a solution before the heat settles in.

I hope it works! That was way too scary for you and Little Duckie — and your sympathetic friends in Cutetropolis!

British Columbia is not a place I think of with the word “hot”!
So glad your sweetie is doing better. Take care of yourself as well as this darling little birb.
I love this comment: he was there for a few days the owner called and asked any improvement the vet said still no change
I can’t even imagine how he ate that much change!!!
Guessing Bitsy was trying to be the change they wanted to see.
