I would so love to pet a seal, even if it didn’t reciprocate. Many years ago, I was walking in Monterey and came across a young seal on a pier. It made intense eye contact for a long while and followed me as I walked along. I just *know* it wanted petpets but I restrained myself.
Butter the squirrel is very cute but I have to wonder since he has the run of the house and doesn’t seem to have a cage or wear a diaper, where does he …. do his business?
apparently squirrels can be litter trained so assuming….
Okay, I really do need a baby squirrel💙, especially if they can be liter box trained!
Or even a smaller size would work for a squirrel…

This is my fave, naturally. Wish I weren’t so terrified of mice, because these are gorgeously made. The artist really captures emotions.
Reminds me of my grandma. She did more embroidery/needlework than knitting, but I had a few sweaters as a kid.
Her tail warmer is a really nice touch.
I had pet mice when I was about five or six, but after one of them escaped and found his way inside the piano – which had to be partially dismantled to retrieve the culprit – they were returned to the pet shop. 😥
