Do cats have to “earn” rest?
For their mental health, I would think so. I mean they’re no different than humans in that regard.
If you’re just vegging out all the time, that’s not good for your body or mental health. If you’ve got no place to be, and nothing to do, its easy to spiral into depression.
There’s a reason that physical exercise kicks in endorphins and makes you feel better. Not just because your body gets rid of toxins via sweat, helps your metabolism, etc.
