The puppy discovering her tail reminds me of baby heffalumps figuring out their trunks.

That puppy was beyond cute, it cracks me up when some of them start growling and biting at the tail, only to be totally surprised when they realize it’s attached to them. I think the one helping grandma with the garden is a Newfie. Good to see a dog’s need to dig channeled into something positive. Thank you Goose for finding the kitties!! Who leaves them like that, and 2 of them looked to be pure breed Siamese. I can’t type the thoughts that went through my head about the person(s) who left them out there but let’s say I could boil my own tea water now. I would love for them to face justice but that’s doubtful. I’m googling to find any updates and will let everyone know if I find anything.

Same kitty, same. Sitting here having a cup of tea trying to get motivated to face the day. Got a semi boring weekend planned as it’s supposed to be cloudy and rainy. After breakfast, will probably do some yard work and weed whack the front then make a path to the sheds. The rest I’ve left to nature and whatever wants to lurk back there. I really need to get someone in to cut down the rest but I think I’ll wait until we’re back from vacation next month.
Had something pretty cool happen last night when we went out to dinner. We got there around the time Artemis II was splashing down and was watching on our phones until hubby realized the place had a tv on tuned to the news coverage. I looked up to see the servers had stopped working and were gathered around the tv watching along with a lot of the customers. Most of the restaurant broke out in applause when the capsule successfully landed. It was like something from the days of the Apollo missions and hadn’t experienced something like that since the Space Shuttle era, watching the takeoffs and landings when we lived in FL. Enjoy the weekend everyone!

My friend posted on facebook a request to let her know when they safely splashed down, because she doesn’t watch space stuff live. As we are of the generation of kids who watched the Challenger launch in school, I can’t say I blame her. I was nervous but I did watch, and as soon as they hit the water I let her know. I kept the TV on mute after the special was over because they said they would be back when they were getting them out of the capsule, so I got to watch that part later, too.

Been saving this one for a bit. Felt like a post for spring.
Happy Caturday!
The dogs were extra good this week…
