The Girl With the Dogs bathes a big stinky orange boi, and reader Susan H. and her orange boi could definitely relate:

I was watching this video when Julius came into the office and started watching with me. He was fascinated, and I had to laugh when she called Simba a sentient throw pillow, because I always refer to Julius as a sentient traffic cone! The comments below the video are hilarious, too.
A sampling of the YouTube comments: “He’s not an orange, he’s the whole grove.” “That ain’t Simba, that’s Garfield.” “His outer love bug was fighting so hard against his inner mayonnaise.”
Regarding that last comment: Mayonnaise is a rather “spicy” kitty that she has done multiple videos with.
I assume the placement of the giant shampoo bottle in the thumbnail is meant to convey his sentiments on his grooming experience. And possibly the amount of shampoo she needed to use.
Simba is a sweetie. Weight loss for cats is hard, and I hope his people succeed. When my Josephine was too big to groom herself, I used to use dry shampoo around her “area.”
Poor baby. Paraphrasing Kermit the Frog, it’s not easy being large. Large or small, Simba is adorable.
Here’s a photo of J Bug watching his larger version, lol! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1ajRFT7osR/
“You’re not gonna do that to me, are you?”
Lol! He’s only been stinky enough for a bath once, and he was remarkably chill about it. We were expecting major spiciness, but he just kinda… sat there. 😂 Maybe he couldn’t access the brain cell in time to revolt. He even let me use the blow dryer on him for a minute!
I tried the blow dryer on Pablo once…he did not like it. Luckily his coat was short so he dried pretty quickly without it.
