Before reading the post, I said, “but that’s a chair.”
Also, it looks to me like they added the pillow after he was already on the seat. He was framed.
There are apparently specific chairs in certain parts of the world that are called sofas. I’ve come across it twice, plus the cinematic masterpiece Killer Sofa, and have no explanation.
