Welcome back, Mike!!!!!!!
It’s good to have the Qte back and thank you for all of your efforts in getting it back online!!! ❤️
Thank you Mike!!!! You are so appreciated for all your work putting out the qte. To be honest, I’ve been a little mopey with not being able to come on here, see some stories that make me smile or give me a laugh and to hang with some good people. I know Mike has said he’s been deciding when to wind down the site but maybe we can have a huge goodbye bash, exchange emails? or setup a Facebook page? for those that want to keep in touch.
The two mice fighting, 😂😂😂,, where’s Larry from #10 when you need him. So happy that Momma was adopted after 12!? years. I just find it odd that no one picked her first as a kitten, then through the years. I wonder what the back story was.
Welcome back everyone!!!
Yaaaayyyyy!
I love the backpack dog guy so much. Such a great idea.
And since we didn’t have Caturday…

And, of course, Puppy Court!
I think the judge is getting a little impatient with some of these frivolous cases…

crying with laughter here
I forgot to watch Puppy Court yesterday.
Hip Hip Hooray!! So grateful to be here again! Thank you Mike. ❤️❤️❤️
So happy to see you ALL back online!
Mike, you were SO much missed! And I missed this community, too.
Of course we all understand that running a blog takes a lot of time and effort, and both literal and figurative bandwidth. But good golly, NTMTOM, it will sure hurt to say goodbye when the time comes. You are our very own extra-special Man of Cutetropolis. Your wit always brightens my day.
I wonder what was really going on between the Tube mice. The same behavior in NYC Subway rats would not, I think, have elicited the same responses from humans.
As a NYC’er, if I saw two cute mousies (instead of huge rats) ducking it out like this I’d have the same response as the London’ers. And, I don’t think I’ve ever seen our subway rats doing anything cute or pleasant….
TBH, I think I’d be worried that the mice were sick. Is that normal mouse behavior? It looked odd to me. And no, I’ve never seen our subway rats do anything nice or pleasant, though Pizza Rat still gives me a laugh. (I wasn’t there in person, though—if I had been, I’d have been giving it a w i d e berth.)
Mice I’ve known have kept most of their conflict to after dark, like most of the rest of what they do, but it seemed like a lot of the more serious damage was inflicted on their back ends, so trying to avoid showing the vulnerable back end to the opponent seems reasonable.
I’ve miss Cutetropolis so much these past few days because the first thing I do in the morning is check the news to see what new horrible thing has happened in the world and then I come strait to Cutetropolis to lift my spirit back up.
So I just want to say thank you for what you do NTMTOM.
Yay! The cosmic balance has been restored.
I missed this site, and all the commenters, so much! Thank goodness we’re back in action.
West Coast checking in… I’ve been keeping my fingers and paws crossed that Cutetropolis would rise again! That was one big void- please keep our tribe together for as long as possible… As many have already attested, this website is the place we come to for the anecdotes that are the antidote for what the world throws at us. We need you! NTMTOM, thank you SO much!
Am thrilled to see Cutetropolis back up and running, with the Herculean and very-much-appreciated efforts of NTMTOM!! Thank you for bringing back this site, Mike – it’s a haven of Cuteness and Sanity in a complicated world. I appreciate each and every Qte community member, and shall count every day that we get to connect here as a bonus.
Looking forward to more Awesome Animals Everywhere!
That photo of the leaping cat is giving me PTSD. THank goodness it’s not a tabby or I’d really be in trouble!
Such a great outcome for the long-sheltered cat! Amazing she held out for so long at the shelter.
And the sparring mice were quite entertaining.
Yay! I was saddened, I was thinking it was an end of an era. I just messaged Allein on the fb, while wishing her a happy b-day and she gave me the great news and link.
I am very happy you are back, Mike!
