And finally: Stella Still Got It!
It wouldn’t be fall without Stella leaping in a leaf pile, and this video found by Dana D. shows the old girl can still move.
Oh my gosh! Mammoth Lakes is where we always spent the summers as a kid. Back then, in the summer, it was a quiet back water and everything was dirt cheap (which is why my parents could afford it). Ski season was the money maker. Now its pretty packed in the summer. It is still my happy place. You can day hike for hours and not see anyone. Total system reset. If I could retire there, even with the bears, I would be so happy.
Also Stella and Mabel! Yay! Allein posted earlier this week, but I could watch those two every day. Mabel looks like she almost jumped right through the pile. Sweet girls.
Happy Friday everyone.
lol…I was just looking for the Stella & Mabel news video. I couldn’t remember if I had posted it or just sent it to Mike; didn’t see it in my sent emails and then I read your comment. 🍂🍂🍂
Stella may have lost some speed but none of her joy when it comes to jumping in leaf piles. Always puts a smile on my face. That’s about the only thing I miss from the East Coast, no leaf piles here in SoCal ☹️.
I’m still trying to figure how the bear got into the library but glad he left before the humans arrived. Luna should be called Lucky Luna after that adventure. I’m hoping that fox will be releasable after its rehab, I know it’s necessary but it seems like a lot of human interaction to get it well.
I’m glad Chance is getting better. I don’t understand how some people could hunt these little guys, I mean look at that face so cute!!
