Earlier this year, Maru and Hana welcomed an unusual visitor: a rhinoceros beetle, one of those big bugs whose hooked horn makes it look like a walking can opener. This intrigues Maru, who imagines he might enlist the newcomer in a raid of the tuna pantry. The beetle refuses, however, and returns to its natural habitat as Maru and Hana say farewell.
