Goodnight, Puppy

I’m not sure what’s in this “chick-o-lee pie,” but it puts this pup right to sleep.

Maybe it’s that stuff that’s in turkey, Cheryl S.

She must have tryptophan in her voice. But I think she’s sung to him for so long, he just completely zones out when he hears her. Very soothing.

That was adorable. Now I want to sleep too! (post-lunch lurgy)

I had a kitty once who loved to be held like a baby and rocked. He would start falling asleep immediately.

I talk to my rabbits (I dare not sing because my Fergus turns into a pinball) and they get all sleepy and chuttery. Pretty cute! Try it, Mike!

We sing all the time to our bun, Lily. In fact we sang to every pet we had including 3 other buns and a cat. I think Lily thinks we are nuts but we do it anyway. They do enjoy being talked to, though. My Jinx REALLY loved it and would “go boneless” in my vernacular. I could really get her going in the tooth purring department.

According to a really obscure website, in Northern Spain, there is a wine called “txikoli”, which is pronounced “chick-o-lee”. Maybe she used it in a pie.

I can granted you that too much “txakoli” puts you to sleep right away. 😉

A ‘chick-o-lee pie’ is the Three Peas in a Pod from the earlier post.
