That was emotionally complex. It was my impression that Maru was hurt by Hana’s trying to take his nip, in addition to simply defending his stash. Hana seemed not to be paying attention to Maru’s feelings and was focused on just getting the dope. I think Maru’s sulk was based on Hana’s disregard of his feelings. Hmmm, am I reading too much into this? Am I venturing into Crazy Cat Lady terrain?
Cats don’t care about other’s feelings, only their own? No, not a crazy observation at all 🙂
I see this more as a classic ‘Heyyy! Yoouu! Get off of my cloud Don’t hang around ’cause two’s a crowd.’
Hana – catnip vampire!
When we do nip in my house the 2 girls have no problem playing together with the toy. But I have to have a toy for each of the 2 boys and make sure there is a lot of space between them or they will fight.
The hurt and outrage on Maru’s face was priceless. Just when I thought these two couldn’t get any better along comes Think-O-Vision to enhance the experience. Loved it! More please.
