This is Scarlette, a bossy little wombat at the Australian Reptile Park. When Scarlette doesn’t get her lunch exactly on time, she tends to get a bit vocal.

Blob opera. Enjoy!
I would get Scarlette whatever she wants, stat!
Thank you for Blob Opera, Tara! That should take care of the rest of my day. 😀
Wow! That’s fun! Here’s a recording I made of them. https://g.co/arts/ojZz9ZhPRUBbttFA7
When switched into “festive mode” you can tap to select from a list of carols for the blobs to perform.
Oh ,Bravo Mr. Mike! Thanks for sharing!
R&B’s mom, this has been my reward once an hour for “working” from home. 😉 (I really am trying)
Mike, what song did you pick? It sounds 16th or 17th-century to me.
Sounds like the Balkans Women’s Chorus from years ago: the same kinds of harmonies and scales, only this is the men’s version. Really cool!
That was not the sound I expected out of a cute little wombat!
It sounds like a squirrel, only louder. Squirrels let out a series of barks followed by yells like this.
Reminds me of the daily greetings of my basement cat, Scorpius.
Actually, now that we’re using Comfort Zone in the basement, he seems rather friendlier. He definitely enjoys chin scritchies and purrs. Progress. Small steps, but progress.
Wish I could scream like that when I’m hungry and my food isn’t ready fast enough. I wouldn’t be considered cute, I’d be asked to leave.
And the wombat sounds like a really hoarse cat trying to meow!
