Because it wouldn’t be Caturday without Maru, here’s a long look back at The Round One in his early years, with classic Maru moments and a few you may not have seen before.

Will have to save this one for later (it’s already on my watch list). Caturday needs Maru and the girls!
Do we ever see him as a kitten?
This is one of the earliest videos of him, he was maybe a year old. Not sure how old he was when Mugu got him. I can’t imagine Maru was ever a tiny thing – he was probably born a huge fluffball.

There’s a couple pictures of him at 7 and 8 months old on the blog

So, he was always a big floof.
Sliding along, on his back, under the sofa, is hysterical!
Free dusting under the sofa is always a welcome side benefit of having a rambunctious floofy cat.
I thought I’d seen every video of Maru by now but I’m glad I haven’t! The one with his tail puffed up – LOL! I never thought his normally thick tail could ever be any fluffier! 😻
She must miss him so much. 😢
