Now We Are Six, Miri

Not That Mike The Other Mike

My, how time flies. Kitten Miri is six years old, and she’s had a busy year of climbing trees, chatting with birds, and learning to squeeze into boxes from master Maru.

Thank you for linking to Milne. These wonderful children’s stories need to be preserved, as they were originally written.

Other gems I found by accident are the children’s satirical stories by Don Marquis, poems with Archy and Mehitabel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archy_and_Mehitabel

Archy is a cockroach who lives in an abandoned newspaper office and uses a typewriter to type out poems. Mehitabel is an alley cat who is his friend.

Happy birthday, Kitten Miri! (She will always be a kitten in my eyes.) How on earth is she now 6?!
