Do we ever see him as a kitten?
This is one of the earliest videos of him, he was maybe a year old. Not sure how old he was when Mugu got him. I can’t imagine Maru was ever a tiny thing – he was probably born a huge fluffball.

So, he was always a big floof.
Sliding along, on his back, under the sofa, is hysterical!
Free dusting under the sofa is always a welcome side benefit of having a rambunctious floofy cat.
I thought I’d seen every video of Maru by now but I’m glad I haven’t! The one with his tail puffed up – LOL! I never thought his normally thick tail could ever be any fluffier! 😻
She must miss him so much. 😢
