Certainly a bold choice for a Saturday morning but I love how the red makes his coloring pop.
Now that the heat has dropped into more normal temps, I can finally do some stuff this weekend. Today is haircut and thrift store shopping. After running errands tomorrow, I may go to the museums. They have a few new exhibits that sound interesting, including photos from Cecil Beaton. Well off to get my exercise in by swimming laps in the pool. Have a good weekend all.
Lovely contrast of red and black/white in this photo. I really need to go get my glasses done. The re-ordered lenses came in on Monday but they closed early for the holiday and I didn’t get the message until after 3:00, and I really just didn’t feel like going after work during the week. I was off yesterday but I wasn’t feeling well so I didn’t go. So I really need to do it today. With any luck the sunglasses I ordered last Saturday will come in today…? Also need to get some chores done and clean up the mess that is my kitchen.
The dogs were good again. And maybe haunted.

lol…after I posted, I read today’s WeRateDogs email with the subject “It’s a big anniversary Brent”:
A whole decade ago — several lifetimes by human or dog standards — someone on Twitter was confused by our very scientific rating system. A man named Brant claimed it “doesn’t even make any sense” to give dogs a 12/10.
Our rebuttal?
“they’re good dogs Brent”
Fortunately, Brant rolled with the punches and took the joke, even wearing the “they’re good dogs Brent” merch we sent him. He got a dog about two years later, bringing the whole thing full circle.
In honor of 10 years of defending good dogs, we’re releasing a “they’re good dogs Brent” bumper sticker.

…and ten minutes after my first post I got a text that my sunglasses are in. Yay!
Fingers crossed that the new lenses are better. (I don’t think that was the cause of my headache yesterday but it certainly didn’t help.)
